Terms of engagement

These terms govern file-review work by Query Signal Core, of 6, Jalan Batu 3, Klang, Selangor 41300, Malaysia. They apply when you ask us to audit procurement applications. They do not sell goods, software licences, or a subscription.

The work

We read application files against a governing instruction, policy, or checklist that you supply. Deliverables are written findings notes, worksheets, and close-out discussions as described for the review you booked. We do not draft bids, price works, or vote on an evaluation of a file we have reviewed for you.

Your papers

You warrant that you may show us the applications. Originals remain yours. We may keep working copies for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable archive period, then destroy or return them as you instruct in writing. We are not a document store.

Independence

Tell us if we have already seen the same pack for another party. We may decline or stop work where a conflict would make the reading unsafe. Our note is for your internal use unless a letter of engagement says otherwise. It is not a court expert report unless separately agreed.

Fees

Fees are quoted as desk-day rates or a fixed fee for a named pack or sample. Quotes are informational until both sides accept an engagement note. Payment is by bank transfer to the account on the invoice. We do not take card payments on this site.

Timetable

Desk days are agreed in the engagement note. We are not responsible for delay caused by papers that arrive incomplete, or by a missing page that cannot be fetched while we are on site. Closing dates for tenders remain your responsibility.

Liability

We take care in reading. We do not guarantee that a buyer will accept a pack, or that an internal auditor will share every judgement. Our liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where Malaysian law does not allow a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Confidentiality

We treat application files as confidential. We may disclose if the law requires it, or to professional advisers under the same duty. Staff and contractors who see a file are bound to the same standard.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction. Notices may be sent to intake@querysignal-core.digital or to the Klang address above.

Changes

The terms on this page apply to engagements accepted after the date you last read them. An engagement note already signed is not rewritten by a later website edit.
